I’ve always believed life shouldn't be purely transactional and business isn’t just about providing products or service. Building relationships, creating lasting connections, and staying authentic is what matters most.
My interest in people. psychology, culture, and ritual has naturally drawn me toward working in photography and writing, where I explore the intersection of place, design, and human potential.
I’m fascinated by how the environments we spend time in shape us emotionally, creatively, and intuitively.
Across my career, from creative consulting to launching OAAK Collective and The OAAK Journal, I work with brands and individuals to bring to life what was to bring to life what may have started as an idea or to help refine and elevate their messaging.
I enjoy connecting others with ideas, opportunities, and tools that support growth, whether it’s in business, or a new way of being.
I’ve always been drawn to stories, what drives people, what inspires them, and what they dream of creating.
Whether I’m behind the lens or writing a feature, my focus is on uncovering the “why” and using story, strategy, and aesthetics to help people express it with confidence and clarity.
My love of buildings, places, and spaces goes beyond my years working in the building and development industry. It’s rooted in a deep belief that our environments shape how we feel, think, and connect.
The spaces we inhabit, our homes, workspaces, and public places influence our emotions, creativity, and sense of belonging. I’ve always been drawn to how thoughtful design can tell a story and create environments where people feel inspired, grounded, and connected.
In many ways, architecture and storytelling are intertwined.
Just as a designer uses light, shadow, and materials to shape a space, I use photography and words to capture feeling, identity, and atmosphere. But for me, design goes deeper than aesthetics, it’s about creating an emotional experience.
The right signature scent, the glow of lighting at dusk, or the way natural textures age over time these are the quiet elements that shape how we experience place.
That same passion for curating meaningful environments led me to create The OAAK Journal, a space to pause, dream, and feel.
It’s a curated collection of stories that transport readers into the worlds of architecture, design, and culture. Stories that ignite imagination, evoke emotion, and spark a sense of possibility.
